Many cases have proved that Malaysia had been harassing Indonesia. Among others, Malaysia claim to the Indonesia territory, the violence of Indonesian workers in Malaysia, the claim of art to the original Indonesian art, until most recently the arrest of Indonesian fishermen by Malaysian marine police. Malaysia is always a problem for Indonesia.

Respond to any challenge from Malaysia, Indonesia continually emphasizes diplomacy, with the expectation that every problem can be resolved in the negotiating table. However, a positive reaction from Indonesia, is always rewarded with an unfriendly attitude of Malaysia. Each letter of protest from the Indonesia Government has always been met with cold by the Malaysian Government.

When Indonesia threatened to assertiveness, Malaysia is always softened, they prioritize the issues facing a family when severe pressure from Indonesia. One cluster of issues (Melayu) also always managed to make Indonesia returned to soften.

But what happens then? Over time, Malaysia back to the attitude of attack, re-claimed territory of Indonesia’s sovereignty, claiming the original Indonesian culture, re-commit acts of violence against Indonesian citizens who work in Malaysia.

Based on the above facts, I think it’s time for the Government and People of Indonesia took a firm stand against the Government and People of Malaysia. For example, by pulling all Indonesian workers in Malaysia or the extreme is to stop trade with Malaysia and broke off diplomatic relations the Indonesia-Malaysia. With a firm stand that Malaysia will be harmed, both politically and economically. Because Indonesia is bigger than Malaysia.
