Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) is the first television station to broadcast in Indonesia. First broadcast on August 17, 1962, TVRI became one ambitious project of President Soekarno, who at that time did not want the country is underdeveloped and outdated, and TVRI then projected to meet the implementation of the Asian Games IV, which is the first sports carnival held Indonesia.
